THE ADSLOT UI SHOWS TWO SETS OF REPORTING
- Publisher numbers directly from the publisher’s ad server.
- 3rd-party numbers are manually uploaded or automatically updated via the advertiser’s ad server integration (commonly Google Campaign Manager).
TO VIEW REPORTING
- All Campaigns - Overview: You can view high-level reporting across all campaigns in the Campaigns tab by clicking on the export icon on the top left of your campaigns. Once downloaded, you can view and sort by metrics such as flight dates, proposed cost, purchase cost, billing party spend, pacing, at-risk and last updated.
- Campaign Basics: In the Summary section within a specific campaign you have access to high-level metrics such as Publishers Performance and Placements Performance.
- Campaign Spend: In the Media Schedule tab you will see pacing, delivery, and spend across each line item. The numbers in the Delivered column will be based on the billing party selected when creating the campaign (e.g. selecting Buyer’s Delivery Data will show buyer numbers). Use the export button to download.
- Campaign Performance: In the Performance tab of the campaign, you will see impressions, clicks, viewability, and spend for both buyer and seller numbers, with the discrepancy between the two data sets highlighted below each number.
- Detailed Campaign Report: You can download a detailed report of a specific campaign, broken out by day, by selecting Export via clicking on the three dots next to the campaign name. You can download a Campaign Report which shows the current media plan. Also there is an option to export a Delivery by Placement report, which shows the delivery metrics broken out by day and by line item, and a Delivery by Size report, which shows delivery broken out by creative size.
6. All Campaigns: You can download a detailed report of all campaigns in the Reporting tab by selecting New Report. Then choose the date range for your report to export data by campaign or placement level, by month, by day, or total time period increments. Note that the date range specified in your report pulls all activity for any campaign whose flight dates fall into that range. Click on the "include delivery data" option to include impressions, views, clicks etc...
TO UPLOAD 3RD PARTY REPORTING
- Select Import by clicking on the dots next to the campaign name, and select import
- Choose the Delivery Data option then select the import icon.
- Select your time zone for the chosen data set, the .csv file containing the raw data you would like to import and the delivery type that you would like to import, then select Next.
- Choose the rows within the file that the data starts and ends with, then map which columns contain which piece of data before selecting Next.
- Map the products in the Adslot Media Schedule to the placement names in your uploaded .csv in this next window. Once mapped, the UI will remember the mapping and you will be able to skip this step when uploading future reports provided that placement names stay consistent in future reports.
Quick Tips
- If you provide the Adslot team with a login to your 3rd party reporting platform, they can service
the 3rd party reporting import for you. - You only need to upload delivery data if your ad server is not integrated. If your ad server is integrated, data will automatically update every 2 hours.
- It is best to upload reporting as often as possible so that all parties have consistent access to all data sets.
- All integrated line items generate publisher reporting in real time from DFP and are usually 99% accurate with little to no discrepancy between DFP and Adslot.
