To book an order in Adslot, you must sign off on a brief in the Draft Plan under the Plan tab of the desired campaign.
Once you have selected a product(s) in the Marketplace, it will automatically be placed in the Draft Plan. To confirm if you want this item in your brief, select the Book icon as seen below.
If all details of the media item is correct, select Book again to Sign Off officially on the media item. Alternatively you can select Send to send the media item to the Publisher without having to sign off.
After you select Send or Book, you will be prompted to leave a comment to the publisher on the bottom left side of the brief.
Once you have typed a comment (optional), select the Sign Off/Send icon which is located on the bottom and top right of the brief. Any custom T&Cs you attached or entered in the comments will override the checked-off T&Cs if agreed by the publisher.
Once you have sent or booked your campaign, the item will be pending approval for the publisher. When the publisher acceptsthe order that has been booked, this means it's officially signed off and will move to the Media Schedule section of the Plan tab in your campaign. If the order was sent, it will remain in the Draft Plan when approved. You will also get an email notification with the order details for both outcomes.
Quick Tips
Sending a media item/brief functions as a digital IO approval between you and the publisher must be mutually accepted for the campaign to launch in the Adslot UI. The sending of the brief must always originate on the buy side, but after the initial sign-off, changes can be initiated by the publisher, which then must be approved by you as the buyer.
T&Cs that could be entered into the comment box include any cancellation clauses, KPIs, performance benchmarks, whitelists/ blacklists, and anything else you would put on a traditional IO.
