Creative upload is only possible once “Sign Off” has occurred by both the buyer and seller. To upload creatives, navigate to your desired campaign within the Campaigns tab of the top navigation bar, then click on the Creative tab.
For bulk creative upload, select Import Creative Tags at the top right.
Select the associated .CSV file with the creative tags you would like to import.
In the Row Data Appears In section, select what rows from the CSV. file that the data will start from and what row the data will end on.
In the Column Data Appears In section, select data from the CSV.file that accurately details each column listed in the grid which are ID, Size, Name and Tag. Make sure to include every column to ensure proper upload then select Next located in the top right corner.
The last section before you Submit, allows you to map any tags that were select from the CVS.file.
Manual Upload
In addition to bulk import, you are also able to upload creatives into each ad unit one by one in the Creative tab of the campaign.
Within the Creative tab, you can either filter the media items by Grid or Tile format, see below for examples.
Grid Format:
Tile Format:
For both the Grid and Tile Formats, select the '+' icon to start uploading your creative assets.
Grid Format: Tile Format:
Next you will be provided with two options to manage your creatives. Either to Upload Creative (as a file or url destination) or Apply Ad Tag (paste ad tag in required field).
The creative is also previewed on the right side of the Upload Creative/Apply Ad Tag screen as per the example below.
Repeat this process for all creatives. Any custom creatives can be sent to the publisher via the Inbox or uploaded as ad tags via the Manage Creative column located in the grid format of the Creative tab, as seen below. The publisher will then manually assemble the creative offline.
Finalising, Canceling and Creative Rotation
Once creatives are uploaded, the items will be Pending until the publisher approves. Once approved, they are then trafficked into the publisher’s ad server.
If you would like to cancel a creative, select the box under Manage Creative for each creative asset and select Cancel. If a creative has already been approved by the publisher, it will not be cancelled until they approve of the cancellation.
If you would like to include a creative rotation, simply upload a new creative asset into the Apply Ad Tag option. Once the publisher approves this new creative (if the prior one hasn’t been cancelled), they will rotate evenly. You can rotate multiple creatives inside each ad unit. You can repeat the bulk import process or map multiple creatives to a single placement while bulk importing to rotate the creative.
Quick Tips
For any custom creative or unique requests, such as creative rotation, you can upload multiple creatives or raw assets or share attachments via the Inbox tabs. Specify to the publisher how you would like them to run the creative. All custom creatives are assembled and trafficked offline but are later applied to the Adslot originated line items that push into DFP and will still function properly in Adslot.
Publishers can also upload creatives via the Creative tab.
Any questions or changes to the creative can be discussed via the Inbox tab.
