To make optimizations or changes to campaigns within Adslot, go to the Media Schedule tab of the desired campaign in the Campaigns tab of the top navigation bar, and select the column you wish to change under any line item.
Change any field that you would like to adjust such as spend, impressions, rate, flight dates, targeting, or frequency cap for any line items by hovering and clicking on the field you want to change. Ensure that you save the changes by clicking the Save or Sign off (if item has been previously sent)icon placed at the top right of the media schedule.
Use the forecasting feature for each line item, under the column Available, to determine how many impressions are available to help you plan your optimizations.
Once the desired changes have been made, select Sign Off on the top right to send the optimization request to the publisher for sign-off.
There is an option to include a Message and check the Campaign Summary before signing off once again.
Optimizations will be pending until the publisher countersigns. You will get an email notification once the publisher has approved optimizations.
Quick Tips
Optimizations push instantly to the publisher’s ad server for all integrated line items once both parties have signed off.
A record of all optimizations can be seen in the Message tab.
Publishers can also initiate optimizations on their end and you must sign off to approve those.
When making optimizations across two publishers, please confirm with both publishers that they can accept these optimizations prior to making changes; if one signs off on the request and the other doesn’t, your budget may over or under-spend.
